Corporate comms

What gets said about you, when you're not in the room.

Corporate comms isn't press releases. It's the architecture of how your company is talked about — by employees, customers, journalists, investors, regulators. When that architecture is built deliberately, every interaction reinforces the brand. When it isn't, every interaction erodes it.

The problem

Your customers, your employees and your journalists tell three different stories about you.

That's the diagnostic. If the three stories don't reinforce one core narrative, your comms architecture is broken. Marketing budget can't fix it. PR can't fix it. The fix is upstream.

How I help

What you get

01

Brand architecture

Master brand or house of brands? Sub-brand for verticals or product lines? The wrong call here costs more than any rebrand.

02

Executive thought leadership

CEO/CXO LinkedIn, keynotes, op-eds, podcast appearances. Built deliberately as authority architecture for the brand.

03

PR & media relations

Earned media that journalists actually want to write. Hooks, exclusives, data stories, executive access.

04

Crisis & internal comms

The two most-neglected comms tracks. Crisis playbook before you need it. Internal comms that build culture.

FAQ

Common questions

Is this PR or strategy?

Both — corporate comms sits between the two. Strategy designs the architecture; PR runs media programmes inside it.

Do you place stories with media?

Through Quiamo's PR desk and via my own network, yes — particularly in industrial/B2B publications.

Crisis comms — do you handle live crises?

Yes — but the work is mostly preventative. A crisis playbook built before is worth ten times what it costs.

What about ESG and sustainability comms?

Increasingly important, especially for industrial/B2B brands selling globally. ESG comms has its own discipline.

Internal comms — is that really a thing?

One of the highest-leverage tracks, especially for companies above 200 employees.
